Fernie is located in the limeston cliffs of the Lizard Range in the Canadian Rocky Mountains in the far southeast corner of British Columbia. The resort is nestled in the East Kootenay region of the southeast corner of British Columbia, which is known as “powder triangle”. Just few minutes to the historical mining town of Fernie, is now small, funky and charming downtown which you can find plenty of options for dinning, shopping and activities.

From Cranbrook Airport: 1.25 hours drive
From Vancouver: 2.5 hours flight

Commonly you’ll need to fly into Calgary Airport on a domestic flight from Vancouver. Bus transfer is the most convenient and economical way to get to Fernie from Calgary/Cranbrook airport.
